Citizen Art Days (CAD) provides a platform that brings citizens, artists and urban actors together in order to address specific common problems using artistic strategies.

Within the frame of the Interim Semester 2013 at the Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, India, Parallele Welten explored together with students the spheres of the res publica by means of artistic strategies.
Thematic areas discussed include, among others, the notion of a responsible economy, sustainability, and a sense of togetherness in the public space, specially concerning women issues.

The resulting students' projects (and their partners) were presented and discussed on December 5th to 6th, 2013 at the Metro Rangoli Art Center, MG Road in Bangalore.

Mit dem Format der Citizen Art Days (CAD) erprobt die Berliner Künstlergruppe Parallele Welten neue Beteiligungsformen für und mit der Gesellschaft. Im Fokus stehen dabei die kreativen Potentiale von Bürgern, Stadtakteuren und Künstlern zur Formung des gemeinsamen Öffentlichen.

Im Rahmen des Interim Semesters an der Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology erforschten Parallele Welten 2013 in Bangalore, Indien gemeinsam mit Studierenden die Sphären des Öffentlichen mittels künstlerischer Strategien. Drei Themenfelder bildeten den Fokus der Untersuchungen: Ökonomie, Miteinander und Nachhaltigkeit.

Die entstandenen Projekte der Studierenden und ihrer Partner wurden vom 5. – 6. Dezember 2013 am Rangoli Metro Art Center, MG Road in Bangalore präsentiert und diskutiert.

Con el formato de los Citizen Art Days el grupo de artistas Parallele Welten explora formas de participación de y para la sociedad. La investigación se centra en el potencial creativo de ciudadanos, actores urbanos y artistas para darle forma al procomún.

En el marco del Interim Semester 2013 de la Escuela de Arte, Diseño y Tecnología Srishti en Bangalore, India, Parallele Welten analiza junto con estudiantes la esfera de lo público a través de estrategias artísticas. Tres temas son el foco de los estudios: economía de decrecimiento, cooperación o convivencia social y sostenibilidad.

Los proyectos resultantes de los estudiantes y sus cooperadores fueron presentados del 5 al 6 de Diciembre 2013 en el Metro Rangoli Art Center, en Bangalore.
