The »VIDEO PORTRAITS« project creates a discussion with negative stereotypes.
The most negative prejudices and cliches relating to notions of nationality are filtered out by means of a street survey and using the STEREOTYPES database online. From this material scripts are developed for performers playing out the roles in their mother tongue.

Das Projekt »VIDEO PORTRAITS« stellt eine Auseinandersetzung mit negativen Vorurteilen dar.
In einer Befragung auf den Straßen sowie anhand der STEREOTYPES-Datenbank im Internet werden die jeweils negativsten Vorurteile und Klischees gegenüber anderen Nationalitäten herausgefiltert. Auf dieser Basis werden Scripts für Darsteller entwickelt, die die Rollen in ihrer Muttersprache spielen.

El proyecto »VIDEO PORTRAITS« se centra en prejuicios negativos según la nacionalidad.
En una serie de encuestas en el espacio público y a través de la base de datos STEREOTYPES en internet, se recopilan los prejuicios y clichés más negativos sobre diferentes nacionalidades. Con base en esta información se desarrollan guiones para video clips, que son representados por personas de las respectivas nacionalidades en su lengua materna.
