DRAWING is a series of photographs which document temporary drawings in the sky. The left behind by aeroplanes are visible only for a few minutes in the sky. Their brief duration and formal beauty contradict their long-term effect on the planet; scientific findings show that they could even contribute more to global warming than all other greenhouse gases (see European Commission Memo 06/506). - [ DE ]
DRAWING ist eine Fotoreihe, die temporäre Zeichnungen im Himmel dokumentiert. Die von Flugzeugen hinterlassenen Zeichnungen bleiben nur einige Minuten am Himmel sichtbar. Ihre kurze Dauer und ihre formelle Schönheit widersprechen ihrem nachhaltigen Effekt auf der Erde, denn sie können nach wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen sogar stärker als alle andere Treibhausgase zur Erwärmung der Erde beitragen (siehe Memo 06/506 der Europäischen Kommission). - [ ES ]
DRAWING es una serie de fotos que documenta dibujos temporales en el cielo. Los dibujos realizados por aviones permanecen visibles sólo unos pocos minutos. Su corta existencia y su excepcional belleza entran en contradicción con los efectos duraderos que producen en la tierra; según investigaciones científicas pueden contribuír incluso más que cualquier otro gas al calentamiento de la tierra.
